V Foundation
Set amongst the picturesque backdrop of the Nickel & Nickel Winery on a lovely fall evening in the Napa Valley, the V Foundation hosted the 9th anniversary of The Wine Celebration. An annual event and auction that benefits cancer research. To house the evenings activities Classic installed an 80’ x 100’ structure, leaving the walls open to reveal the beauty of the winery and surrounding vineyards. Subfloor, lighting and décor followed to complete the design which was reflective of the joyous evening to come. The night was highlighted by a delectable wine country menu, live auction and first class entertainment with dancing all night long under the stars!
The V Foundation was a dream of former NC State basketball coach, Jim Valvano, as he battled cancer. Nationwide events by the Foundation have garnered over $70 million since 1993, provided many cancer research grants, and have enabled researchers to bring their science directly to the clinics. The Wine Celebration event has funded 23 research programs including Napa’s Queen of the Valley Hospital, Stanford and UCSF. Classic Party Rentals is honored to be a part of this important and purposeful event.
